What a Smile can do

The benefits of smiling isn’t limited to those who smile, but can have the same impact- if not greater, on those who see you smile. Smile to a loved one whom receives it may have a better day the moment their blessed with it. A smile is one of the strongest, yet silent form of communication and expression.

The moment I saw this topic, I thought of the letter I came across that was sent to my mom from my dad. My dad sent her a poem, I was shocked. For one, my dad actually read poetry…and the poem completely explains what a smile can do. I was over whelmed with need to share this remarkable piece of work.

– A SMILE
A smile costs nothing…but gives much.
It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give.
It takes but a moment… but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it and none is so poorer but that he can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home… fosters good will in business and is the counter sign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad and is natures best antidote for trouble.
Yet it can not be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen- for it is something that is of no value to anyone, until it is given away.
Some people are to tired to give you a smile.
Give them one of yours… as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.
