101 Easy Blender Bottle Hacks That Will Astonish Your Friends

Most people use their Blender Bottle to whip up protein shakes for pumping themselves up. Protein shakes, as you probably know, are nasty smelling and tasting drinks (well most of the time anyway). You probably wouldn’t want to get yourself a Blender Bottle just to make one for fun.

But the fact is, a large majority of people who use Blender Bottles, use them only for whipping up these bad-smelling, body building protein shakes. A lot of them don’t even know about the amazing number of things you can blend together using this simple but versatile kitchen tool.

I was one of those people.

Ok, so I don’t drink protein shakes… But initially, I never knew that you could use these bottles for making magical stuff other than body building shakes.

Once I realized, the sheer amount of possibilities blew my mind. And those possibilities are what I want to share with you today. But first, I’d be jumping the gun if I didn’t talk a bit about what a Blender Bottle is for those of you who are yet to hear about it…

What On Earth Is A Blender Bottle?

What's a Blender Bottle?

A Blender Bottle is a really simple gadget made by a company called Sundesa. If I were to explain it in the simplest terms, it’s something like a water bottle that’s made especially for shaking stuff together. It comes with a Blender

Ball. A surgical stainless steel little round thingy that whips up the things you put into the bottle just like a wire whisk.

It seems like a simple concept, but it’s actually a very versatile tool.

Do Blender Bottles work though? They actually do, and they work extremely well. And they’re cheap too.

They’re better than any other shaker on the market currently (according to most people, including myself) because of how well they can shake and blend things together. When you shake powders and liquids together, you won’t find lumps

in the mixture. It’s so thorough in the mixing process.

Not only that, but they’re really well designed. They close tightly, so you don’t have to worry about leaks all over your shirt when shaking things up. A couple of other features:

  • Easy-grip design. Make it super easy to shake things.
  • Ounce and milliliter markings. Makes it super easy to measure stuff too.
  • Specially designed StayOpen flip top. No worries about the lid falling on your nose.
  • They’re really easy to clean. This is because of the open design.
  • Dishwasher safe. Great for people who use them.
  • Have a large/drink pour spout. You won’t be annoyed with slow flows.
  • Very secure screw-on lid and cap. Never leak liquids on your shirt again.
  • Wide opening for ingredients. Great for people who use it for cooking.
  • Fits in most car drink holders. Don’t drink and drive though.
  • No electricity or batteries required. And they work even better than electric shaker bottles. Seriously.
  • BPA free. No worries about your health while you’re using it.
  • Uses surgical stainless steel for the Blender Ball. So metals won’t leach into your drink.

And did I mention that they’re versatile? Oh. I did…

Well, you can do a ton of stuff with them. A lot of which you probably wouldn’t have imagined if you didn’t read this article. Here are a hundred and one of them…

8 Ninja Blender Bottle Tips

So you’ve got a ton of our special blender bottle hacks for blending various stuff together. It’s all good. But it probably won’t help you out as much as it could if you knew these 7 amazing Blender Bottle tips.

Since we’re already here anyway, we might as well show you how to best make use of your little gadgets…

Ninja Tip #1: If your Blender Bottle’s leaking, it’s defective. You can return it and get a new one.

This is a problem that I’ve read about on a lot of website reviews. People complaining that their Blender Bottles are leaking and they get protein shake all over their shirt, pants, and even their underpants. If you find that your

Blender Bottle is leaking, you should return it to the store you bought it from. It’s probably defective.

I’ve used a couple of Blender Bottles (some bought recently, some bought previously) and none of them have had a problem with leaks.  They actually shut really tight. So tight in fact, that sometimes I have to help others open the lid

with my strong and muscular hands.

Ninja Tip #2: You can buy several different Blender Bottles and label them for different uses.

I probably don’t need to tell you this. But I think I should anyway. If you use Blender Bottles for different purposes, then it’s probably best if you get multiple bottles. And label them. Both the bottle and the cap so you don’t mix them up.

Don’t use the same bottle for blending laundry powder as the one you use for making baby formula.

Ninja Tip #3: Reuse the old, disposable Blender Bottles in creative ways.

No matter how durable your Blender Bottle is, there comes a time when you’ll both have to part ways as it departs to Bottle Heaven in the skies above. But hey, don’t chuck out your Blender Bottle just yet.

You can reuse the container or the lid for various creative purposes. Such as for growing flowers, or even for home decor. We talked about a few of these creative techniques previously. I’m sure you can think of plenty of your own as well.

Ninja Tip #4: When making powdered drinks, foods, or solutions, add the liquid first and the powder on top.

The Blender Ball works really well for blending up the drinks so that no residue is left behind. But… it works much better if you put the liquid stuff first, and the solid stuff on top when shaking… instead of the other way around.

That way, you can be absolutely, positively, 100% sure that everything will be blended well with nothing unmixed.

Ninja Tip #5: Before shaking make sure the cap is ‘snapped’ tightly closed, and the lid tightly screwed shut.

Ok. So… there are times in life when we all forget stuff. And that may include forgetting to snap your Blender Bottle cap tightly shut, or screwing the lid properly resulting in a wet mess. Make sure that it’s tightly closed.

The Blender Bottle cap closes with a very tight and loud ‘snap’, so you can be sure it’s closed. However, about the lid, sometimes you screw it into the wrong crevices. And it seems to be screwed on tightly, when actually it’s just

screwed on wrongly. So…

Ninja Tip #6: Twist the lid in the opposite direction before twisting it in the right direction.

If you screwed it on wrongly, or you just want to make sure it’s not screwed on wrongly, twist it in the opposite direction all the way (which is clockwise). This will help your lid to fall into the right crevices before you start

screwing it on.

Then you can start twisting it in the right direction (which is anti-clockwise) for tightening.

Ninja Tip #7: Don’t use your Blender Bottle with hot or warm liquids.

If the liquid you’re shaking is too hot or warm, it may cause build up of pressure in the bottle. And this may cause the liquid in your Blender Bottle to spurt out and hit you in the face when you open the lid.

So… if you forgot about this, and you added hot or warm liquids to your bottle… turn the spout away from you before attempting to open. So that the liquid doesn’t spray onto you.

Ninja Tip #8: You don’t have to use the Blender Ball. You don’t even have to shake.

Sometimes things go so well with the BlenderBall, we don’t even realize that we don’t need to use it. You can use the bottle to shake up some things just fine, even without the ball. This is especially good for dry ingredients. Like

nuts for example.

And, you don’t even have to shake things up to mix them. Like if you’re mixing together some fizzy soft drinks. The large design of the Blender Bottle container makes it easier to pour things together than if you were using a small cup.
