At what Temperature will the Polar Ice Caps Experience Irreversible Damage Mother Earths Shoulders

MOTHER EARTH’S SHOULDERS

The melting of the polar ice caps is a paradox of global warming.

With deflection of the Ultra Violet sun’s rays – as ‘white’ does – on such a large proportion of mass, as the Poles, it only needs a small degree in basic terms. The whole picture must be seen over a time frame, rather than the idea of an instant temperature rise.

Most who have shown concern – even if from a distance, or each trying to do their bit towards global warming – have looked up more than down. Up, because that’s where the whole issue began re. the Ozone Layer, and the damage being cased by the hydrocarbons. Anything else learned, has been the basics of energy’s waste and how we use – or abuse – it.

We must keep in mind that the first thing to melt comes not from above, but under. The sea water is warmer than the polar ice caps themselves, and it melts the ice quicker from underneath. Just as a small block of ice in a glass floats on the water, it too melts from under, within the water. The temperature here of the glassed water, is usually referred to as, room temperature.

Currents flow like conveyor belts through the Earth’s oceans. An example here would be a freezing swim on the Atlantic side of the Namibian-South African Coast as against the warmer seas on the Indian Ocean’s eastern coastline. Cold and warm currents – some known as Gulf Streams – are both in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres; just as the polar ice is at the Antarctic, and Arctic.

But another aspect of the melting of the polar caps must be considered. The ‘heat ray’ – being the infra red – when it comes to our solar energies, is the one which penetrates the Earth’s core. This needs the interaction within the thermosphere shield of our Earth to give and return again as the heat. As equally as the water rises and falls back to Earth within its own atmospheric exchange. At the South Pole, the land mass holds more heat.

Then we come to the carbon dioxide effect, which in truth we could ask, ‘how hot is dry ice?’ Venus is proof of this effect, but only the gaseous state is seen and measured. So what really will be the temperature in time when measured at the polar ice caps? If left to experience the same as Earth’s sister planet did – when once it was livable – we can only begin to conceive what a real green house effect would be.

But for now, the temperature at Earth’s polar ice caps, the predictions are sometimes as variable as our knowledge increases. NASA predicted as far back as 2004 that by + – 2050, there would be a rise of up to 3.5 Centigrade. This, according to today’s understanding, could change. Despite all the good intentions; in which we can all contribute to helping our planet through to a new cycle, facts remain, there is a lot of re-thinking to do.

We and all things called cosmic operate from the inside to out, oscillating according to the variables placed on us. So why should it be any different for the Earth? Its polar ice cap temperatures depend on more unknowables, than knowable factors. We can continue to learn and monitor. Melting point varies as much as boiling water in atmospheric conditions.

It takes longer to boil the water for tea at basic ground level, than in the atmospheric pressure found at higher altitudes, like Mt. Everest. To boil water, the basic is for the heat to come from underneath the container which holds it. It could very well turn out to be, that the polar ice caps will have to wait a bit longer, until the sea temperature (or land) is warmed more, from underneath.

We can only all work on the fundamental truths which surround our ice caps, and care more for our planet Earth, than we have really begun to. The highest rise in temperature has been the scare-mongering. The momentary cycle – in the cosmic measurement of time, is all a part of change we have to ‘learn’ to live with.

Preparing for this never did any-one any harm. But so long as like an overcrowded ship, we do not care for the weight we place upon Mother Earth’s shoulder’s, the quickest melt will be the tip of the polar caps, due to her axis. This is the point of irreversible damage!

We as humans sway like a pendulum, oscillating between what really is and what might be. But none of us want to wake up if we’ve tipped the boat to below freezing. Think!
