How to Use Noxzema

Overview

Noxzema is a skin cleanser formulated to gently remove makeup, dirt and oil. In addition to linseed and soybean oil, Noxzema contains camphor, eucalyptus and menthol to leave the skin feeling refreshed and tingly. You can use Noxzema as often as necessary to deep-clean your face and prevent acne breakouts. While the Noxzema skincare line offers a variety of products, the basic directions for each are the same. Noxzema is available over the counter in most pharmacies and retail stores.

Step 1

Use a hair clip or tie to pull your hair away from your face. Your hair may feel greasy if it comes into contact with the product. If you do get Noxzema in your hair, use mild soap or shampoo to wash it out.

Step 2

Wet your face with warm water, and then apply a quarter-sized amount of Noxzema to your skin. Spread the cream over your face, being careful not to get the product into your eyes.

Step 3

Massage your face in a circular motion, using your fingertips or a damp washcloth. Concentrate on acne-prone, oily or dirty areas of your face. Spread the product to your neck if desired.

Step 4

Rinse your face with warm water until your skin is completely clear of the product. Pat your face dry with a clean towel. Rubbing your skin can cause irritation.
