Payday is a candy bar that consists primarily of peanuts and caramel. The Martoccio Macaroni Company introduced the Payday in 1932 and it passed through multiple owners until Hershey Foods acquired the Payday brand in 1996. Several versions of the Payday are now available, including a high energy sports bar.
