Superfoods to get popular in Britain next year

British citizens next year may be purchasing more superfoods and anti-aging products as they set new trends on supermarket shelves next year, according to a report released this week.

Drinks and personal beauty products with origins in the Amazon region — especially for older men — are among the top 10 growth areas predicted by British-based trendspotters, as they have suggested that newer trends will be based on growing consumer concerns for ethical and environmentally friendly products. Hence, less chemicals in products and more naturally-based care products.

The surveys results stated that beauty products containing Amazonian botanicals — which are believed to have strong health benefits — have already become popular in France and are likely to be cashed in the UK as consumers look for more naturally-inspired and ecologically-friendly products.
