Experts give tips for living healthfully this fall

There is something about the fall, in New England anyway. The briskness of the air, the sunny days and cool nights, the invigorating thrill of the changes in the weather. It surely renews my spirit and gives me a sense of cleansing the body and mind.

WebMD agrees that fall may be a good time to renew. They asked a panel of experts what tip they would share to help people live more healthily this fall, and they came up with eight general and simple ideas. If you are looking for a quick step in the right direction on the road to health, this is a good first step.

For example, how easy is it to add beans to your diet? That’s what one of their experts recommends. Can’t you just taste the hummus or a white bean salad, or how about some black bean chili for a warming meal on a cool autumn evening . . . yum!Other tips include using friendship to de-stress, picking a new and fun way to keep fit and making sure you know your current cholesterol count and blood pressure numbers.

With just a little focus on yourself (and who couldn’t use that?) you can have an inspiring and healthy fall this year.
