Reading Public Library Loves the Red Sox
A sign held up at a Red Sox game by Jamie Penny of the Reading (MA) Public Library prompts sportscasters to talk about libraries - as well as baseball!

A sign, some cheers, and a winning team earned a national TV spot for the Reading (MA) Public Library—a particilant in LFF's EqualAccess program—at a recent Red Sox game. The camera caught the enthusiasm of Jamie Penny, Head of Technical Services, whose sign led the sportscasters to discuss the pleasures of reading. Now that's public awareness!
