Buspirone’s serious side effects include blurry vision, a fast or irregular heartbeat, itching and involuntarily movement of the neck or head. Call a doctor when these side effects develop. This medication is a tablet taken two to three times daily.
Clonazepam, commonly sold as Klonipin, is a benzodiazepine medication that also balances chemicals in the brain to reduce symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder. Drugs.com says this medication also treats people with panic disorders and epilepsy. Some of clonazepam’s less serious side effects include a runny or stuffy nose, drowsiness, memory problems, weight changes and a skin rash. In some instances, clonazepam also leads to blurry vision and sore gums. Call a doctor when clonazepam leads to these effects. Clonazepam is a tablet taken once a day.
Imipramine, commonly sold as Tofranil, is a tricyclic antidepressant medication that also balances chemicals within the brain. Drugs.com says some of its less concerning side effects include constipation, diarrhea, a headache, blurry vision, impotence and a decreased sex drive. Serious side effects include easy bleeding or bruising, a skin rash, rapid weight gain and swelling. Notify a doctor when imipramine’s serious side effects develop. Imipramine is a tablet taken daily or as indicated.
